The Halo Pro League kicked off again for the third week in a row hosted by LVT and Shopify Rebellion. This week’s matchups consisted of FaZe Clan vs OMIT, Shopify Rebellion vs Complexity, TSM vs Envy, and Optic Gaming vs Spacestation Gaming.
FaZe Sweeps OMIT in Dominant 4-0 Series
FaZe came out swinging and never let up, cruising to a clean 4-0 sweep over OMIT. The series kicked off with a solid 3-1 victory on Origin CTF, setting the tone early. They followed it up with a flawless performance on Aquarius Slayer, taking the map 2-0.
OMIT showed signs of life in Game 3, keeping things close, but FaZe held firm and secured a 50-43 win. The final map, Recharge Oddball, was all FaZe as they controlled the tempo from start to finish, closing out the series with a commanding 238-151 victory.
Trippy led the charge for FaZe, posting the highest K/D of the series at 1.38 and dishing out a team-high 24,696 damage. On the OMIT side, Huss put up a valiant effort, topping his squad with 73 kills and 23,402 damage.
Shopify Outlasts Complexity in a 4-2 Thriller
Shopify Rebellion took care of business against Complexity in a hard-fought 4-2 series win. Things kicked off with a slugfest on Live Fire, where Shopify edged out a 3-2 victory in King of the Hill. They followed it up with a statement performance in Slayer, dominating Game 2 with a commanding 50-27 win.
But Complexity wasn’t ready to roll over. They answered back in Game 3 with one of the fastest and most dominant wins on Origin CTF in Halo Infinite history, cruising to a 3-0 sweep. Shopify responded in Game 4, reminding everyone why they’re the No. 2 team in the HCS, taking Aquarius Strongholds 3-1.
Game 5 was a nail-biter, with Complexity barely surviving 50-48 in Slayer to keep the series alive. However, Shopify slammed the door shut in Game 6, dismantling Complexity 200-91 on Recharge Oddball to seal the series.
LastShot was the difference-maker for Shopify, leading the team with a massive 103 kills and 28,155 damage.
TSM vs Envy Delivers a Game 7 Classic
The TSM vs Envy matchup was nothing short of legendary—a high-octane, back-and-forth brawl that became the first series of the tournament to go the full distance to a dramatic Game 7. Both squads brought their signature fast-paced, scrappy teamplay that kept fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
TSM struck first with a gritty 2-1 Oddball win on Recharge. Game 2 saw Envy answer right back, squeezing out a nail-biting 50-49 victory in Slayer on Solitude. TSM regained control in Game 3 with a clutch 1-0 win on Aquarius Strongholds and followed it up with a dominant 3-0 sweep on Origin CTF in Game 4.
With their backs against the wall, Envy stepped up in Game 5, taking Slayer on Streets 50-41 and building momentum. That led into an unforgettable Game 6 on Live Fire King of the Hill—a slugfest that saw both teams go blow for blow until Envy edged out TSM 4-3 in a heart-pounding finish.
Game 7 came down to the wire. Both teams traded kills and leads until the scoreboard locked at 49-49. With everything on the line, Precision held a key setup at A and Top Gold before sneaking into the control tower to eliminate Druk for the game-winning kill. The clutch play secured Envy the series win, a $1,000 prize, and serious momentum heading into the HCS Salt Lake City Major 2025.
Optic Gaming Sweeps Spacestation in Statement Series
The final matchup of the week featured Optic Gaming taking on Spacestation Gaming in a best-of-seven series with $1,000 on the line. From start to finish, Optic looked locked in, dominating every gametype and sending a clear message to the rest of the league: they’re still the team to beat.
Game 1 kicked off with a clinical 2-0 win for Optic on Recharge Oddball. They followed it up with a commanding 50-37 victory in Slayer on Solitude, showcasing their signature teamfire and map control.
Game 3 was a slow burn on Aquarius Bomb, with only one bomb plant the entire match—Optic’s. Despite a sense of urgency from Spacestation, they couldn’t disrupt Optic’s rhythm or gain enough footing to turn the tide.
The series wrapped with a confident 3-1 win on Origin CTF, sealing a 4-0 sweep for Optic Gaming. With this performance, Optic reinforced their status as the top squad in the league—online or on LAN.
Next stop: HCS Salt Lake City, where Optic will aim to make history once again and complete the coveted three-peat in 2025.
