In the first week of the LVT x Shopify Rebellion Halo Pro League, viewers watched as OpTic dominated FaZe in a 4-0 best-of-seven series for $1,000. Since then, more matches have taken place, and it’s time to shed some light on what’s happened and how the teams have stacked up so far.
Complexity swept Omit in both teams’ league debut with a convincing 4-0 victory. Complexity took Game 1, though not without a battle—Omit put up a strong fight in Game 2 (Slayer), ultimately falling 43-50. Complexity then went on to score the only point in Aqua Bomb, followed by a 2-1 win in Game 4 on Live Fire Oddball.

The newly rivaled teams of Spacestation Gaming and FaZe Clan—who swapped two players with each other—faced off the following week, where FaZe came out on top and showed they got the better end of the deal. In Game 1, SSG fell just short, losing 4-3 to FaZe on Aqua CTF and then 43-50 in Recharge Slayer. SSG bounced back in Game 3, winning Strongholds on Live Fire 250-223 and creating the potential to tie the series. However, FaZe Clan had other plans. They shut SSG down in Games 4 and 5, with a 3-2 win on Solitude King of the Hill and a 50-41 victory in Slayer on Streets.
TSM and Shopify finally got their shot to face each other after one player was unable to compete the previous week due to an internet outage. Shopify dominated once again this year, proving why they’re a serious contender for a championship. Game 1 was no easy feat, as TSM fought passionately throughout. Shopify took Game 1 3-2 on Recharge King of the Hill and Game 2 50-45 on Origin Slayer. Games 3 and 4, however, told a different story—Shopify hit the gas and steamrolled through with a 1-0 win on Aqua Bomb and a 2-0 victory on Live Fire Oddball.
Week Two had no shortage of action, as we also saw Envy upset SSG. Envy managed to sneak away with wins in the first two matches, taking Game 1 3-2 on Recharge King of the Hill and Game 2 50-49 on Origin Slayer. Game 3 was where SSG answered back, winning 1-0 on Aqua Bomb—but that win would be a fleeting moment for the astronauts. In Game 4, Envy bounced back with a 2-1 win on Live Fire Oddball. SSG tried once again to keep the series alive by taking Game 5 with a narrow 50-48 win in Aqua Slayer. But in dominant fashion, Envy closed it out in Game 6 with a 3-1 win on Forbidden CTF, upsetting SSG and taking the $1,000 prize.
In another matchup, Complexity was able to handle the fast-paced TSM squad, who had recently placed well at the DreamHack Dallas event with the help of Manny. Complexity swept TSM 4-0, proving that the RyanNoob method is alive and working. TSM lost a hard-fought battle in Game 1, falling 5-4 on Aqua CTF. Complexity coasted through Game 2, winning Slayer on Recharge 50-42, followed by a dominant 250-140 victory on Live Fire Strongholds in Game 3. Game 4 was another tug-of-war, with Complexity taking the final match 3-2 on Solitude King of the Hill to close out the series.
Shopify Rebellion once again swept a team 4-0 in the LVT x Shopify Rebellion Halo Pro League. They faced OMiT in Aqua CTF, winning in dominant fashion 4-0. OMiT looked strong in Game 2, Slayer on Recharge, but Shopify held firm and secured the win no matter what it took. In Game 3, Shopify dominated again, beating OMiT 250-123 on Live Fire Strongholds. OMiT tried to extend the series in Game 4 on Solitude KOTH, but Shopify came out on top, winning 4-3 to take the series and the $1,000 prize.

OpTic Gaming continued their run in the Pro League by nearly sweeping Envy. Game 1 was a cakewalk for OpTic as they won 5-0 on Aqua CTF. In Game 2, Envy showed why they’re a team to take seriously by edging out a 50-48 win. However, Game 3 was a different story, as OpTic mopped the floor with Envy 250-45 on Live Fire Strongholds. KOTH was no different, with OpTic taking a 3-1 win on Solitude, followed by a dominant 50-28 victory on Streets Slayer.
